The edible garden and demonstration kitchen introduce people to the living sources of their foods - the varied plants forming the basis of the world's cuisine. The connection between soil and sustenance emerges in plain sight.
Three circular venues ( vegetable amphitheater, water wall room and harvest pavilion) are arrayed along a field of planted row crops.
The harvest terrace and outdoor demonstration kitchen culminate the garden with the opportuinty to experience cuisine from a variety of chefs from around the region.
Axios collaborated with Mesa Design Group and AECOM in the project design. The images that follow are taken as construction neared completion. Updated photographs will be added at a later date.
